Week 5

We all finished up our break sets in our class time had a few different demos as well. I used my hours to finish up the last of my break jobs totaling 17 break jobs I helped on a few to do a wheel seal and bearing adjustment. It wasn't overly complicated but wasn't too simple. I didn't know that there were going to be basic specs for doing a wheel end but there is an industry standard to always guide you if you don't have specific specs. Good thing to know and to ask for if ever asked to do breaks. 

Week 4

So! We started breaks and did some demos on taking out and replacing wheel seals, also we did bearing adjustments whisc i had never done before. how many steps you have to take surprised me but it is thorough work and it will be done thoroughly.  And of  course we spent time in the classroom for lectures and I attended my other classes
